1 FEBRUARY 2002

M/RAD launched their Model WIN437-491 PC Digital Monitor and Controller which uses the latest Windows © OS, provides mechanical shaker operation including linear and logarithmic sweep, while monitoring and displaying machine performance.


15 FEBRUARY 2002

M/RAD launched their Model SRA1400-4, Four Channel PC Digital Shock Instrument which provides capture, display and analysis of half-sine, sawtooth and square wave pulses, plus waveform display on CRT, analysis of pulse width, peak G, and velocity change; hard copy report; menu driven operation; tolerance window overlay on CRT and hard copy; pulse waveform storage and retrieval; filters.


1 APRIL 2002

M/RAD launched their Model 0606(20)PDT, Portable Drop Tester which is a lightweight (5 lbs), mechanically actuated drop tester intended to mount on a table or bench, and by rotation of a simple mechanism may drop packages of up to 6 inches cube, either on the floor or on the table top.


15 APRIL 2002

M/RAD launched a new PC digital automated drop control for their Pneumatic Shock Machines.


This control is used in conjunction with the M/RAD SRA-1400 shock monitor. The purpose of this control is to:

• Regulate amplitude
• Save each shock pulse and execute a count of shock pulses
• Create a report and graph of shock history
• Provide the ability to review individual shock pulses that were saved during a program run.
• Provide the ability to filter the control channel to provide a more consistent history of amplitude to maintain a trend within a user specified tolerance.


1 MAY 2002

M/RAD announces that it intends to add additional features to its WIN437 Digital Vibration Monitor by the end of the year. These features include:

• Ability to monitor 4 channels with view option for each channel
• Allow over and under g on each channel
• Sensitivity input to be provided for each channel
• Add G vs. Hz plot
• Add PSD plot and graph option


1 MAY 2002

M/RAD announces that it intends to add additional features to its WIN437-491 Digital Vibration Monitor and Controller by the end of the year. These features include:

• Add step programming to meet MIL-STD-167
• Add G level hold
• Add Resonance Search and Dwell


1 JUNE 2002

M/RAD announces that it intends to add additional features to its SRA1400 Digital shock Instrumentation by the end of the year. These features include:

• Add Shock Response Spectrum Software
• Provide the ability to program both the Pneumatic and Free Fall Shock machine functions through a remote workstation.
